The not so busy, busy week

Last week I was making plans with a friend and I remember myself telling her, "we have nothing going on next week."

I find myself saying that a lot now, even though it may not necessarily be the truth. Am I the only one who seems to do that?

In all reality, we've been running around like crazy this week (so hence the reason for no pictures or post worth reading). Between Mom's Day Out, MOPS, story time at the library, and church, we haven't sat down for a minute and the weekend is going to be just as busy. I told Amy the other night that I'm pretty sure Olivia thinks I'm trying to get rid of her. She's either been in school or nursery everyday this week.

Yesterday when I dropped her off at school, she did the hardcore cry. She has never, ever cried anytime I've ever dropped her off at the church nursery, MOPS nursery, or her two weeks of school. It completely broke my heart and I'll be completely honest...it made me give one more point to the homeschooling argument. I knew she really needed some one on one mommy time, so even though I was really excited about our playdate today, I let out a sigh of relief when it was rescheduled for next week.

So, today it's just been my girl and I hanging out at home (minus a quick trip to the consignment sale that I swore I wasn't going to).

David's been a little busy this week with work stuff and I know a few of you already saw the picture I posted on facebook last night, but I thought I would share it with those family members who don't have a facebook.

(I know it's bad quality, but blackberries are not known for their picture taking skills)

Last night, she was just sitting by the front door with her blankie waiting for her da-da. It was the sweetest thing. She was just sitting there saying "da-da, da-da." Of course I snapped the picture and sent it to David. Unfortunately, it gave him a guilt trip since he hasn't been able to spend much time with her the last few days (Sorry, honey~I swear, that was not my intentions). Thankfully, both of our schedules are looking a little calmer next week. Plus, we only have about two more weeks till we have David home for ten straight days! I know a certain someone will be excited about that, though David and I might be on each others last nerve by day ten.

Hopefully, I can get back to blogging next week. I hate not blogging, but obviously, it's usually the first thing to get put on the back burner when things get a little crazy. I'm going out of town for a wedding this weekend with my mom and I'm planning on getting some blogging done when we sit in the hotel room. It's a lot easier to blog while talking to my mom than it is to blog while keeping a 12 month old entertained. Plus, I finally have a few things to write about.

Which is another reason I haven't been blogging much lately....I just haven't felt I've had much to say lately. At least nothing worth blogging about. Yes, our schedules have been busy, but I've still been feeling lately I'm in a blogging rut. Hoping the inspiration will come back soon.

That is so sweet! And why do BBs suck at taking pictures? My friends with better phones take dslr quality pics and mine look like they were taken with a disposable film camera! lol
